Each issue correlates with the learning standards for second grade so it has made planning a breeze. Each issue also includes skills practice that is fun and engaging for kids and has extension activities that promote even further learning. One of the extensions is to write a letter. This is one of our favorites. I can actually see writing skills improving after each lesson.\r\nThere is such a great variety of genres that there is something that each student loves.\r\nWe have used it several times as a whole class together, but I plan to use Storyworks for small groups as well.
