I have heard of many students saving their tickets to be able to buy a bigger prize. We have had many younger students learn the value of their ticket means something because they have a visual representation of what their tickets will earn.\r\n\r\nWhen I first got the packages and started to put them in the case for students to see, you could hear the excitement as they walked by and saw all the fun things they could save up for. I even heard some of our staff excited about the things we received for our store.\r\n\r\nOUr next step is to keep the excitement going by adding new things each quarter. This will help students stay engaged in what there is to earn and not get bored with the prizes. My Heart is to make sure these students stay engaged while learning life skills of working hard to be able to get what they want and to handle their own \"money\" in the future.","fullyFundedDate":1755521987054,"projectUrl":"project/roar-rewards/9594674/","projectTitle":"Roar Rewards","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wilkins","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10176688"},{"teacherId":6064212,"projectId":9035273,"letterContent":"Thank you again for all the support I have received this year for supplies for my classroom. Returning to the classroom can be difficult but with the support of all of you, my transition has been made a little easier. Needed storage supplies for items such as scissors and colored paper are used daily during independent, partner and station work. We all know how much storage is needed for kids and having a good supply has been great. Storage containers are used to store everything from station materials to headphones. They come in so handy.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping provide so much for my classroom and my students. The Energy Stick experiment was a huge hit! My students were thrilled to see how their bodies could conduct electricity and make the stick light up. It sparked so much curiosity and excitement.\r\n\r\nThe classic soda and Mentos experiment was another favorite. It led to a fun and engaging discussion about pressure—and even a few jokes about burps! The giggles were non-stop, and it was such a joy to see learning come alive in such a memorable way.\r\n\r\nYour support makes these kinds of experiences possible. These hands-on activities not only teach scientific concepts but also create lasting memories and inspire a real enthusiasm for learning. Being able to have books for my students to read and for me to use for classroom read alouds has been so impactful.
