It has also lifted a burden on families that are food insecure get back until they can go to the grocery store. Food is a basic need that every needs but some may not have the funds to be able to provide for their families and this is where this program has stood in the gap to help these families thrive. \r\n\r\nWhen all the food was delivered to the school and was accessible to the students they were so excited to have healthy and sustainable snacks while they were at school. I had parents say that the snacks were so helpful and appreciated because they knew that their child was being fed no matter what. \r\n\r\nBeing hungry is never okay and it makes it hard to learn. This program has helped students stay full so they can focus on the lessons in class.","fullyFundedDate":1766067664233,"projectUrl":"project/feed-the-gap/9624487/","projectTitle":"Feed the Gap","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wilkins","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10176688"},{"teacherId":10176688,"projectId":9594674,"letterContent":"The supplies we got for our store has the students wanting to be on their best behavior. I have heard of many students saving their tickets to be able to buy a bigger prize. We have had many younger students learn the value of their ticket means something because they have a visual representation of what their tickets will earn.\r\n\r\nWhen I first got the packages and started to put them in the case for students to see, you could hear the excitement as they walked by and saw all the fun things they could save up for. I even heard some of our staff excited about the things we received for our store.\r\n\r\nOUr next step is to keep the excitement going by adding new things each quarter. This will help students stay engaged in what there is to earn and not get bored with the prizes. My Heart is to make sure these students stay engaged while learning life skills of working hard to be able to get what they want and to handle their own \"money\" in the future.","fullyFundedDate":1755521987054,"projectUrl":"project/roar-rewards/9594674/","projectTitle":"Roar Rewards","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wilkins","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10176688"},{"teacherId":6064212,"projectId":9035273,"letterContent":"Thank you again for all the support I have received this year for supplies for my classroom.
