They immediately started guessing what was inside the big box, and once they saw all the clear bins, they began brainstorming how we could use them. The first thing we did together was label each bin and decide what materials would go inside—from math manipulatives and art supplies to science tools.\r\n\r\nNow, everything in our classroom has a home. This has made transitions smoother, group projects more efficient, and our classroom environment calmer and more productive. One special moment was during a recent STEM activity: students were able to grab exactly what they needed for their design projects without waiting or searching. \r\n\r\nThese new storage towers are helping students take ownership of our space and learn responsibility and organization skills. Our next step is to start a rotating \"Classroom Manager\" system where students will be in charge of keeping the materials sorted and tidy.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting our classroom and helping us create an organized, inspiring space to learn and grow!","fullyFundedDate":1744243840803,"projectUrl":"project/organization-is-key-to-creativity/9223643/","projectTitle":"Organization is Key to Creativity!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Michelle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6342160"},{"teacherId":9991141,"projectId":9240115,"letterContent":"Thanks so much for the items that were donated! We use the whiteboards everyday in our phonics practice. The headphones are also used daily with our online programs. Thanks to your kindness and generosity through DonorsChoose, our first grade students now have headphones, individual whiteboards, number line whiteboards, and a large classroom whiteboard. Each of these items is already making such a meaningful difference in our daily learning, and we are beyond thankful.\r\nThe headphones have been a game changer for our young learners. In first grade, we use technology to support reading, math, and listening skills, but it can be challenging to focus in a busy classroom. Now, with their own pair of headphones, students can listen carefully without distractions and fully engage in the activities. In subjects like science, math, art, and engineering, students can design and create real objects—everything from geometric models to custom tools or prototypes. This hands-on experience strengthens their problem-solving skills, encourages creativity, and makes learning feel more meaningful because they can see and touch the results of their thinking.\r\nWhat excites students the most is seeing their digital designs come to life. There's a real \"wow\" moment when a student watches something they created on a screen turn into a real, physical object. It gives them a sense of pride and ownership. They're also excited by the idea that they're using the same kind of technology real engineers and designers use in the professional world—so it feels like more than just a school project; it feels like career preparation.\r\n\r\nI want to thank you all for making this opportunity possible for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1743641095901,"projectUrl":"project/building-futures-in-3d-empowering-steam/9224349/","projectTitle":"Building Futures in 3D: Empowering STEAM Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Michelle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6342160"},{"teacherId":9991299,"projectId":9237212,"letterContent":"I want you to know that my students have used the new resources during our review unit at the end of the year this year.
