These snacks have become an incredibly appreciated and valuable resource in my classroom, and they are used every single day. The snacks have quickly become a favorite among students—especially the Veggie Straws and Cheeze Its! It has been wonderful to see how excited students are to have an accessible and highly preferred snack that they can rely on daily. \r\n\r\nMy classroom serves special education students in a Title I school, where many students face additional challenges that can impact their ability to focus and learn. Having access to snacks at school makes a meaningful difference for them. Students know they can come to our classroom to get a snack if they didn't have one that day or if they simply need something small to help them get through the school day.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the gum that was purchased will be used during state testing in the month of April. Chewing gum can help students stay focused, reduce anxiety, and provide a small sensory support that helps them stay calm and attentive during long testing periods.\r\n\r\nFor many of my students, this small act of care helps them feel supported, comfortable, and ready to learn. A simple snack can improve focus, reduce stress, and give students the energy they need to participate in their lessons and work toward their academic goals.\r\n\r\nMy students and I are truly grateful for your kindness and generosity. They were so excited to open the boxes and try out each new item. When they opened the spinning chair, they waited for it to be put together and then they each took turns spinning in it and giggling. \r\n The pluffle was also a hit! We took the time to put it in a container and they took turns exploring and making it shrink and grow. Again, this is such an awesome tool to help with regulation. The texture of it was so easy to clean up and they were so focused for at least 20 minutes. \r\n Each of these items is going to help my students with regulation.
