Adding a new carpet and more appropriate seating options for all sizes (not just those giants who can fit in those large wooden chairs) encourages lingering, lounging and sharing in our beautiful community space.\r\n\r\nThe new bookshelves carved out a new nook and increased traffic and interest in an area of the library that has been neglected. More display space and comfy seating was all that was needed to attract an audience and increase circulation. The Reading rug is exactly what was needed to make the learning environment comfortable for students to create and build their projects.\r\nThe students can now read along with their third grade buddy readers. The students now have a comfortable carpet that allows them to have a large space to create their STEM projects as well as a place to read and learn. \r\nThe reading rug is a dynamic additional to the classroom. It is the center of our learning. We can now conduct our morning meetings, learn our social skills lessons, reading and phonemic awareness lessons, Science and Math lessons. The carpet is the center of our learning and the students are so happy. \r\nThank you for making our classroom environment the ideal place to learn. \r\nYou have made a positive and dynamic difference in our classroom learning environment.\r\nI would love to thank RIPPLE for matching the funds needed for this project.
