The Reading rug is exactly what was needed to make the learning environment comfortable for students to create and build their projects.\r\nThe students can now read along with their third grade buddy readers. The students now have a comfortable carpet that allows them to have a large space to create their STEM projects as well as a place to read and learn. \r\nThe reading rug is a dynamic additional to the classroom. It is the center of our learning. We can now conduct our morning meetings, learn our social skills lessons, reading and phonemic awareness lessons, Science and Math lessons. That curiosity led to the decision to purchase additional titles for our older students. So really, this project is responsible for over 40 \"talking books\"!\r\n\r\nI continue to be touched and so, so grateful for the love this community so eagerly and lovingly displays for our school.
