Many of my students have commented that stories are helping them expand their vocabulary, reflect on grammar rules and work on proper pronunciation. \r\n\r\nThe stories chosen are a little cheeky. This age groups enjoys the challenges the characters get themselves into. It's fun watching them see how to stories unfold. In groups, we have been discussing new vocabulary, describing the characters and voting on where the stories are going with foreshadowing in the books. \r\n\r\nOverall, the experience of reading an entire chapter book in Spanish is new to these students.
