They were especially excited when they first saw the magnetic animals. I incorporate a play-based approach in my sessions, which allows students to learn and develop important communication skills through meaningful play. The magnetic animals have been particularly engaging, as students can mix and match different parts, make creative combinations, and practice skills such as requesting and commenting.\r\n\r\nMany of my students are also working on describing and categorizing goals, so these materials have been especially beneficial. We have also been using the On Your Spark matching game to strengthen vocabulary, categorization, and describing abilities. I appreciate that this game offers multiple levels of difficulty and can be adapted in various ways. One activity my students enjoy is using the board for an \"I Spy\" game, where they describe an item based on its features.\r\n\r\nAll of these materials have been valuable additions to our speech and language sessions and will continue to support student growth.
