The students love their new head phones. We have organized the headphones by numbers so each child knows which pair to use. Students have recently used the headphones to take their beginning of the year diagnostic test. They were all able to listen and understand what was being said to them by the program they were on. The headphones fit the students comfortably with out sliding off. Students know exactly where to put their headphones when they have finished to keep things organized. For example, adaptive reading and math platforms adjust difficulty to each learner, so students who need extra support get targeted practice while others move ahead. Teachers also use digital tools to create multimedia lessons that make abstract ideas concrete — simulations in science, virtual manipulatives in math, and creative publishing tools for writing — which increases engagement and helps students apply knowledge in authentic ways.\r\n\r\nThe new product has energized students because it makes learning feel like a hands-on, social experience rather than isolated drill work. They love the instant results, gamified elements that celebrate progress, and the chance to work together on shared screens or collaborative documents. That combination of fun, visible growth, and real-world relevance keeps students motivated to try harder and take academic risks.","fullyFundedDate":1745510960369,"projectUrl":"project/4th-and-5th-grade-essentials-for-classro/9166378/","projectTitle":"4th and 5th Grade Essentials for Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Zachary","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9590275_orig.jpg?crop=1117,1117,x124,y438&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754854192397","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9590275"},{"teacherId":9590275,"projectId":8951702,"letterContent":"My students were so excited to recieve their new headphones. Many of the students never was able to afford their own pair and now they have a pair to use anytime they are in my class. This also helps with diagnostic testing. My students that struggle to read are no longer at a disadvantage because they can hear what is being asked of them and read back to them. \r\n\r\nMy students reacted immediately when they seen the box because I had been talking about it for awhile. So, when it was delivered they quickly started asking to use the headphones. My students also have concrete materials that have been helping them understand their place values using models. This is a fun way and engaging way for the students to learn. My next steps with my students is to find my hands on manipulatives that aligns with our curriculum that can help the students with understanding how to solve problems. Thank you so much again for all that you have given us. We are mopre than appreciative. We also no longer have to wait on prints anymore in the office!! If my students need extra practice or an activity to complete to go along with the lesson, I am able to quickly print and give them those resources without having to wait.","fullyFundedDate":1733778783470,"projectUrl":"project/math-essentials-for-ms-zacharys-class/8951702/","projectTitle":"Math Essentials for Ms. Zachary’s Class","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Zachary","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9590275_orig.jpg?crop=1117,1117,x124,y438&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754854192397","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9590275"},{"teacherId":8884075,"projectId":8555431,"letterContent":"The students have been really enjoying the items that were donated. We use the \"first we work, then we get rewarded\" system in class to motivate them. The fruit snacks and Scooby snacks have definitely boosted their motivation. \r\n Jotting down ideas on the whiteboards has been so helpful, especially with our current LEAP assessment practice. They are more confident in expressing their thoughts and explaining main details in stories. \r\n The tote was much needed to keep stuffed animals and pillows contained in our little reading corner. I definitely appreciate this item the most. Our corner looked chaotic before but now everything has a place. \r\n The headphones are always a necessity. Every pair we have gotten donated has been utilized by our students. Every week they have tasks and assignments on their computers. The headphones keep noise levels down and keeps tasks private for each specific student.\r\n We greatly appreciate this donation. It is being utilized to the best of its abilities.
