The pom-poms and customizable shirts have helped students feel united and proud to represent their school. One unforgettable moment was watching them put on their shirts for the first time and practice together with huge smiles, confidence, and school spirit. It truly made them feel seen and valued.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, their excitement was overwhelming. They were thrilled to have items that reflected their school and their identities, and many shared how special it felt to finally have a cheer team of their own. In the classroom, the paper, paper cutter, and mobile stand are already being used to add creativity and color to assignments, anchor charts, and student work displays, making lessons more engaging and interactive.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building routines and performances as a cheer team while also using these classroom materials for creative projects tied to literacy and social studies. One of my favorite moments was watching students curl up with a book from the new series and eagerly share which character was their favorite and why—it sparked conversations and excitement about reading that I hadn't seen before.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new library space, their faces lit up. They were immediately drawn to the cozy seating and couldn't wait to explore the new books. Several students who previously struggled to stay engaged during reading time are now asking for extra time to read or excitedly recommending books to their classmates. The library has truly become a safe, calm space where students feel relaxed and motivated to read.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue building their reading stamina and comprehension through independent reading, small-group discussions, and response journals tied to the new book series. These new resources have helped create a calmer, more inviting environment where students feel comfortable taking academic risks.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate. They were thrilled to have choices in where and how they learn, and many shared how the new seating made them feel \"relaxed,\" \"comfortable,\" and \"ready to work.\" The clean, organized space—supported by the carpet cleaner and fridge shelf—has also helped students take pride in caring for their classroom and respecting our shared space.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue using these resources during literacy centers, math problem-solving, and collaborative projects. Many of the books also support making connections, visualizing, and building background knowledge, which are especially important for readers who are still developing confidence.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is now filled with excitement and choice. Students eagerly browse the classroom library, recommend books to one another, and take pride in finding stories that spark their curiosity. I've seen students who once avoided reading become more willing to try, spending longer periods engaged with books they genuinely enjoy. One student who often struggled to stay focused now asks for extra reading time because he \"really wants to know what happens next,\" while another proudly shares new vocabulary words she's learned from her favorite series.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped create a classroom culture where reading feels joyful, achievable, and meaningful.
