Thanks to your profound generosity, our classroom welcomed the Bambu P1S 3D printer, a machine the students quickly and affectionately named Toby Box. And what a workhorse Toby Box has been!\r\n\r\nYour investment has transformed our students from simple users into genuine engineers and technicians. The learning curve has been incredible; they successfully networked Toby Box to our school system and, in a truly impressive display of mechanical aptitude, mastered the complex skill of disassembling and reassembling the Automatic Material System (AMS). They don't just push print—they own the maintenance and deep mechanics of this powerful tool.\r\n\r\nThe impact goes far beyond technical skills. To ensure fair access to this popular resource, the students took complete ownership of resource management, collaboratively developing and implementing a highly effective queueing system to ensure equity of printing for every student in the class. It has been a lesson in logistics, fairness, and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThe proof is in the production: we've logged well over 1,000 hours of printing time on Toby Box. This machine is running constantly, turning digital designs into physical reality for hundreds of projects.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for putting this phenomenal machine in our hands. Toby Box is a testament to your belief in hands-on learning and is teaching my students as much about mechanical engineering as it is about resource management and peer collaboration.","fullyFundedDate":1758063348478,"projectUrl":"project/the-fresh-prints-of-castle-hayne/9644773/","projectTitle":"The Fresh Prints of Castle Hayne","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Toothman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp638909_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1503440593438","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/yourartteacher"},{"teacherId":638909,"projectId":9633989,"letterContent":"We are absolutely thrilled to share the incredible impact your support has had on our students! Thanks to you, our classroom now buzzes with the sound of airbrushes, and the level of artistic and technical skill our students have achieved is truly inspiring.\r\n\r\nThis project was about more than just painting; it was about ownership and mastery. Our students have completely taken the reins of this new tool. They manage everything from the proper maintenance and cleaning of the airbrushes to training their peers on how to care for them. This level of responsibility is fostering real-world technical confidence!\r\n\r\nThe projects they have tackled are just as impressive:\r\n\r\nThey've mastered various techniques, including using stencils to create crisp, intricate designs.\r\n\r\nThey've brought their 3D-printed miniature sculptures to life, adding stunning detail and color to their creations.\r\n\r\nIn a brilliant move, they even figured out how to 3D print their own custom stencils—merging two different technologies to innovate their art!\r\n\r\nCurrently, our artists are channeling their creativity into exciting skateboard designs. The energy and enthusiasm in the room are contagious as they use the airbrushes to create unique, high-quality finishes.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students the chance to explore a dynamic new medium, learn invaluable maintenance skills, and develop the confidence to teach each other. You have sparked a true passion for visual arts and technical skill that will stay with them long after they leave the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1755965176302,"projectUrl":"project/painting-dragons-robots-and-dreams/9633989/","projectTitle":"Painting Dragons, Robots, and Dreams","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Toothman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp638909_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1503440593438","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/yourartteacher"},{"teacherId":638909,"projectId":9644800,"letterContent":"We did it! They've made fantastic light-emitting swords and practical 3D-printed tealights, along with so many other exciting things. Several students have even mastered the skill of soldering, which is a huge accomplishment!\r\n\r\nThe fun isn't just in the classroom, either. Your support allowed us to print some truly memorable items—the Batman cat mask and Batman dog mask have seen plenty of action (and plenty of photo ops!).\r\n\r\nOur entire school is abuzz with excitement and creativity because of this project.
