With the arrival of our soldering materials, 3D printer filament, and specialized maker supplies, our classroom was transformed into a high-energy engineering lab.\r\n\r\nHow Technology is Shaping Our Learning\r\n\r\nIn a school setting, technology isn't just about screens; it's about creation and problem-solving. While many of us use technology to consume information, my students are using it to build the future.\r\n\r\nBy using 3D printers, students learned to translate a digital 3D model into a physical object. They didn't just play with a toy; they learned about structural integrity, scale, and material science. The soldering kits taught them the \"magic\" behind their favorite gadgets—showing them exactly how circuits connect to bring a machine to life.\r\n\r\nThe Highlight: Remote Control Bumper Cars\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part of this project was undoubtedly the RC Bumper Car Challenge. Students used the filament to print custom chassis and the soldering iron to wire up the motors and receivers. Watching their faces light up when their hand-built cars actually moved for the first time was a highlight of our school year!\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in these young makers.
