The children have explored so many exciting concepts — from learning about the solar system, to experimenting with floating and sinking, to creating shapes with our new magnetic building sets.\r\nIt has been incredible to witness their curiosity and joy in action. One student proudly named all the planets in order, and another—who is still developing language skills—lit up with a big smile as they pointed to an object sinking in water. A student who usually struggles with big emotions sat calmly for an extended time, fully engaged while creating and sharing different shapes with the magnetic tiles. These moments have been so heartwarming and truly affirm how meaningful your support is.\r\nMost of my students tend to prefer solitary play. With these STEM materials, our next goal is to build on their confidence and help them engage in collaborative play—working together to build with magnetic sets, conduct experiments with the Can Do Science Discovery Kits, and explore the solar system as a team. Through these shared learning experiences, my students are developing not only scientific thinking and fine motor skills but also vital communication, social, and emotional skills.\r\nYour generosity has helped spark their curiosity and given them the tools to connect with one another in new and meaningful ways. These little scientists are growing every day—and your kindness has made that possible.","fullyFundedDate":1758061245202,"projectUrl":"project/ignite-curiosity-build-bonds-stem-kits/9699048/","projectTitle":"Ignite Curiosity, Build Bonds: STEM Kits for My Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ning","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7132290_orig.jpg?crop=345,345,x179,y169&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1596593210123","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7132290"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_126335","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":40,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":50,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":33,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":91.7,"schoolId":126335,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about South County Consortium on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"South County Consortium","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/petaluma-city-schools/south-county-consortium/126335"}
