For our middle school students, playing games provides a natural opportunity to practice important social skills that they will carry far beyond our classroom. As students play together, they learn to communicate, cooperate, take turns, follow directions, solve problems, handle winning and losing gracefully, and navigate disagreements with their peers.\r\n\r\nAt a time when so much of students' world happens through screens, there is something especially valuable about putting a game on the table and asking students to interact face-to-face. Laughter, friendly competition, teamwork, strategy, and even the occasional \"Wait...that's NOT how you play!\" become opportunities to build relationships and practice being part of a community.\r\n\r\nThese games will also serve as a meaningful reward for students who demonstrate our classroom expectations of Respect, Responsibility, and Represent. Rather than simply receiving a tangible prize, students will have the opportunity to earn time connecting with their classmates and enjoying something together.\r\n\r\nYour donation has helped us create more opportunities for our students to play, connect, communicate, and grow. You didn't simply provide games—you provided opportunities for our students to build memories and develop skills that matter.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing that our students deserve opportunities to learn and have fun at the same time.
