A bulk of my project was for headphone, but the supplier didn't have them after funding. I was able to get a smaller batch, though, that helped my students through end of the year testing which is very important to our special education students. The noise reduction headsets helped my ADHD students that lose focus easily. \r\n\r\nI am very grateful for the new pencil sharpener (and so were the students). No more pencils getting all chewed up! The best was the charging blocks, though. With your donations, I was able to get a brand new Eco-Tank printer that is much more cost efficient, new stools for my small group table, among many other supplies such as laminating sheets, dry erase markers, velcro dots, etc.\r\n\r\n The kids were most excited about the new stools that they're able to sit on during small group instruction time. They love the color of them, and it's just something different for them to sit on rather than their chairs. The printer has also been a huge help, because I can easily print out student work, homework, or resources without running out of ink as fast as before.\r\n\r\n Again, thank you so much for your kindness towards my classroom. I cannot wait to do it again next year only this time with Disney Doorables rather than just eraser animals!\r\n\r\nIt will be used the same ways as before; Each week students will have opportunities to earn points on kickboard or Class Dojo (whichever program we are using for the year) by exhibiting exemplary behavior. On Fridays, students will use those points to visit the \"desk pet store\" and buy another desk pet, food for their pet, or accessories.\r\n\r\nThis behavior management system offers positive incentives for increased target behavior. And it has continued to work the past few years with different tweaks based on what students like. Their faces lit up and they could hardly contain the excitement for indoor recess. \r\nThe Game Center looks fantastic! All of their toys are organized neatly. They really enjoy being able to play with toys with all the correct pieces in it. I would say the most played with items are the large connect 4 board, the cash register, and the veterinarian set. \r\nI have personally enjoyed my new chair that is much more comfortable to sit in. Since I am a new teacher, a lot of the items in my class were well used. My personal desk chair had leather ripping off of it and was not as sturdy as I would have liked it to be. \r\nThe ambiance of the room has taken a dramatic turn. The greenery looks natural and gives the classroom a \"homey\" feel, and the lamps help the students eyes from straining and allows them to receive more natural light, rather than the fluorescents they were getting exposed too. \r\nThey have also been so excited about the desk pets and other prizes in the prize box.\r\nI really cannot thank you enough.
