My students and I are so grateful!\r\nWe have already incorporated the linking cubes and AngLegs into our math lessons. The students have been using them to practice counting, create straight lines, and show how many objects are in different groups. These tools have truly strengthened their understanding during hands‑on learning. We also just began our Butterfly Life Cycle unit, and the class is buzzing with excitement as they observe the growth and changes of our caterpillars. One of my favorite moments was watching the students gather around the habitat, pointing out tiny movements and eagerly noticing each new stage.\r\nWhen they saw the caterpillars for the first time, they were beyond excited. Their faces lit up, and they couldn't wait to learn how butterflies grow and change. Their curiosity and enthusiasm have made this project even more special.\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue using the math manipulatives to support counting, comparing quantities, and exploring shapes. In science, the students will keep observing the life cycle as the caterpillars transform into butterflies. Once they emerge, we will celebrate by releasing them together as a class—an experience the children are already looking forward to.\r\nThank you again for supporting our classroom. Your generosity has created meaningful learning opportunities for my students, and we are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1766344940585,"projectUrl":"project/from-caterpillars-to-counting-hands-on/9965300/","projectTitle":"From Caterpillars to Counting: Hands-On STEM in Pre-K","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Pinon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9566568"},{"teacherId":4366226,"projectId":8869655,"letterContent":"I am writing to sincerely thank you for your generous donation of books to our classroom library. Your support has had a powerful and lasting impact on my students' learning, confidence, and love of reading.\r\n\r\nSince adding these new books to our collection, I've seen a remarkable increase in student engagement and enthusiasm for reading. The fresh variety of genres, topics, and reading levels has allowed each student to find something that speaks to their interests and abilities. Whether it's a reluctant reader discovering a series they love, or a curious learner diving into nonfiction, every student now has more opportunities to connect with books in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nThe new titles have also enriched our classroom discussions, deepened comprehension work, and sparked countless quiet reading moments filled with curiosity and joy. Our reading block feels more dynamic, and students are more motivated to read both in class and at home. One student recently said, \"I didn't like reading before, but now I found a book I can't stop thinking about!\" Moments like that wouldn't be possible without your support.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and helping to create a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming reading environment.
