Put it on the corner of the fabric, not the middle and then hand sew the zipper to the pouch. They are sewing the rest of the pouch by hand. \r\n\r\nMany of the students are interested in making their own stuffed animals, pillows and purses. I love their enthusiasm! It creates a connection between home and school. It has also greatly supported our routine for packing up at the end of the day. We are also going to begin to use mailboxes for students to share notes with each other as a way to practice our writing soon!
