They are just the right size, and they coordinate with our headphones which makes it easy for each student to keep track of which pair of headphones if the right one for the right student. The label maker has helped with this also. It is so simple to use, and the labels stick well to the bags and to the headphones. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping my students to have the tools they need to access learning and for providing what I need to keep these tools organized and safe from harm, so that we can continue to use these for years to come. You have impacted over 100 fifth graders this year, but you will continue to impact 100 more next year, and the year after. My students loved getting the accessories and using them with their robots. It was very exciting for them to be able to use these items with their Dash robots we already have in class. The students were able to easily attached parade floats to the robot without any damage. They use the robots to code them to maneuver through a parade route! They even got to design their own parade float to attach to the robot using the accessories you provided through your donation. My excitement doubled when I saw my students using the listening center in class and taking Accelerated Reading Tests on what they have listened to. There have even been tears of joy.\r\n\r\nI want to highlight one student specifically. He struggles with reading and he knows this is his weakness. He wants me to read books with him so he can take Accelerated Reader tests. He wants so badly to earn points and the rewards that go with this program. I am able to read books with him but I also need to work with my small groups on days he has library time. \r\n\r\nThe listening center has opened a love of reading for him. He can listen and follow along. He comprehends well when being read to. He listens to story that have an AR tests that then reads to him. He rarely misses any of the questions. He loves this option for reading. He feels successful and sees himself doing what the other students are doing. Every dollar that went into this project was worth it just for this one student!\r\n\r\nOther students are using the listening center as well. It is fun to watch them sit together, listen together, and share a book. They are creating a cozy, love of reading environment. I have loved bringing the listening center back into my classroom!
