This hands-on approach to learning has deepened their understanding of structure in argumentation, strengthened their critical thinking skills, and improved collaboration across teams. One of the most exciting aspects for the students has been the ability to see their work come to life instantly. This process is used when a child is having an anxiety attack and the process helps them get their brain to stop focusing on whatever is giving them anxiety and focus on the grounding process instead. We also learn the five finger breathing method, which is where they trace their fingers with the pointer finger of the other hand and while they are going up the finger, they slowly breathe in and while they are going down the finger they slowly breathe out.
