It has had great impact on my students over the last few months. Students in my class are struggling learners who have to have an extra math group to help close the gap between their skills and grade level standards. We believe strongly that spending time on problem solving and confidence building will help close this gap in addition to the extra math work that we do. \r\n The building supplies and puzzles that you provided get used for the first 5-10 minutes of our group and as a result, students show up on time and are happy to be there. I can see their confidence, persistence, willingness to ask questions and take risks on math work is growing. They are building relationships and learning to think critically and have fun while doing math puzzles and building blocks with your funding. \r\n Students were so excited to unbox and try out the different materials. They love the Keva wooden blocks, Kanoodles and TOMYOU interlocking disks. I'm grateful to have enough materials to give them choice over what puzzles they use each day. Seeing students learn and explore with the hands-on materials is so rewarding.
