Being a teacher is, frankly, really, really hard. Somedays, the kids are just A LOT. It can be tough to stay positive. We sometimes feel alone and without any real support.\r\n\r\n Which is why this project and your donations mean SO much. Your generosity helps teachers like me feel appreciated, and that helps us do what we do, day in and day out.\r\n\r\n The impact these donations have made is felt in both 4th grade and 5th grade. As Science Lead for my campus, it's up to me to support all the grade levels, 4th and 5th in particular. Just today, 5th grade used the microscopes to examine structures of plants. Both 4th and 5th grades used the gloves to protect their hands while gathering plant samples. All of my 4th grade classes have enjoyed the new safety glasses on numerous occasions, and lab gear - like graduated cylinders - always comes in handy.\r\n\r\n And for our upcoming unit, we will be using the hydroponic kits to grow our own plants right in the classroom!\r\n\r\n It's just been amazing. I can't wait to do a new project, and with the generous support of donors like all of you, we will take Mr. G.'s classroom to a new level of STEM learning!\r\n\r\n Thank you all again so very, very much.
