Ozobots allow students to explore how technology \"thinks\" by giving clear, logical instructions and seeing immediate results. Instead of passively using technology, students are creating, testing, and revising their own solutions, which builds critical thinking, perseverance, and collaboration skills that apply across all subjects.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students is seeing their code come to life. Watching the Ozobots follow color-coded paths or respond to commands they designed is incredibly motivating. Students are eager to experiment, troubleshoot mistakes, and challenge themselves with more complex tasks. The instant feedback helps them understand that mistakes are part of learning and that trying again often leads to success.\r\n\r\nThis technology has been especially impactful for students who may struggle in traditional academic settings. Some of my quieter learners and students with learning differences have really come alive during Ozobot activities. They gain confidence as they see their ideas work and often take on leadership roles by helping peers debug or improve their designs. Because of your generosity, all students are experiencing the joy of coding, creativity, and problem-solving in an accessible and meaningful way.","fullyFundedDate":1759338597302,"projectUrl":"project/buzz-blink-and-code/9527790/","projectTitle":"Buzz, Blink, and Code!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bowman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4475655_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1496079436758","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4475655"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_40788","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":486,"numTeachers":36,"percentFrplEligible":42,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":7,"percentWhite":76,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":10,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"13.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.7,"schoolId":40788,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Salem Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Salem Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arkansas/bryant-public-schools/salem-elementary-school/40788"}
