We received your donation within the first two months of school starting and now, here we are within two weeks of our Winter Break and I still have parents excitably sharing with me how their students love the changes they have seen come from the music program!\r\n\r\nWe use the materials every single day in almost every class period. When the students first saw the items, they were shocked to find that the items were for them! My kindergartners are learning to associate music with their locomotive skills and having a carpet as a meeting and target points help exponentially. \r\n\r\nYour donations have completely turned our music program upside down! I am receiving praise from students who previously did not like music class! Students are learning more than they have before and parents are just as excited for every new step we take. I am, personally, very grateful for your generosity and the opportunities it will provide for these students.","fullyFundedDate":1723091572237,"projectUrl":"project/lost-without-music/8561120/","projectTitle":"Lost Without Music!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Green","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9629143"},{"teacherId":9223573,"projectId":8560935,"letterContent":"My students and I are so very grateful for your donations. These materials are so helpful. During tests, students are allowed to go and pick any privacy folder they would like- they've even started doubling them up and making little tents! The marble run has been a huge hit during indoor recess. They love the headphones and using them to have stories read to them on the computer. They've started reading the books as well!\r\n\r\nMy students were overjoyed when they saw the packages arrive. I didn't tell them about them until I unboxed the donations and told them what their uses were. \r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students are to continue utilizing these resources as they continue to grow as fifth graders! There was definitely some positive shouts of celebration!\r\n\r\nThe project materials have been amazing for the students to explore POSCA pens on small canvases. Students got to explore a true artist experience where they planned a sketch for their canvas with a focus on art elements and principles of design. Then the students executed this plan on the canvas and it was an amazing experience to see! To see the students different ideas, the engagement during application, the questions that were asked, and the problem solving that occurred was magical. On top of that, the end result of the small canvas creations were so unique and really told you more about the artist/student. Thank you so much for your donation and supporting such an amazing project where the experience positively changed the classroom and was enjoyed by all!","fullyFundedDate":1727462782468,"projectUrl":"project/lets-explore-art-with-posca-pens-and-mo/8560584/","projectTitle":"Let's Explore Art With Posca Pens and More!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Madison","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9231163"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_68393","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":355,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":13,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":78,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"13.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":77.3,"schoolId":68393,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Saddle Ranch Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Saddle Ranch Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/douglas-county-school-district-re-1/saddle-ranch-elementary-school/68393"}
