The variety of seating, such as beanbags, floor cushions, and new chairs have given my students more comfortable options for reading, writing, and working together. The portable lap desks have been especially helpful, allowing the students to work anywhere around the room. This helps with students that struggle to stay seated at a table and need more space to work and stay focused.\r\n\r\nThe storage bins and student headphones have also made a difference in our daily routines. The bins allow students to stay more organized and keep track of their materials in class. The headphones allow them to concentrate during independent work time, reading, and during assessments. My students are excited to learn in a space that allows them opportunities to make choices about where they sit. They love getting to sit in the chairs and enjoy collaborating with their peers around the classroom.
