Your donations helped 19 preschool children develop their knowledge of letters and numbers through play based learning. The students had an opportunity to put magnatiles together in ABC order, for example, which demonstrated what their abilities were as well as showed me which letters we need to focus on for the remainder of this academic year.\r\n\r\n Along with exploring their numbers and letters, students were able to match emotions to either their current emotion or emotions of characters in books. My students seem to really enjoy this activity as they would laugh at the silly faces on the little spots of emotions stuffies. \r\n\r\nWe will continue to work with the materials that you graciously helped fund for our classroom. The new flexible seating options have made a world of difference for our energetic kindergarteners. Students are now more able to focus on their learning, as they can choose the seating that helps them feel comfortable and engaged. One of my favorite moments was seeing their faces light up with excitement when they first walked in and discovered the wobble chairs and colorful stools. Immediately, they began exploring the options, eagerly sharing their favorites with one another. \r\n\r\nThese resources have not only supported students who need to move or fidget but have also fostered a stronger sense of responsibility and independence. The chair pockets and book bags have helped our students keep their materials organized and easily accessible, making transitions smoother and learning time more productive. Recently, during a group reading activity, several students proudly retrieved their book bags, excited to take stories home and share them with their families.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our classroom projects, students will use these resources to support collaborative group work, independent reading, and hands-on activities. Their enthusiasm for learning has grown, and I am thrilled to see them take ownership of their education in new ways.
