The chair pocket organizers have not only offered students ample and flexible of storage space, but they've brightened up our room and encouraged a sense of ownership for students in the places they sit and work. \r\n\r\nAfter receiving confirmation of funding, I was excited to inform students that we'd be receiving chair pocket organizers. I explained to students exactly what we'd be receiving and how I hoped they would help us. Needless to say, they were excited to get their books and supplies up off of the floor, where many had been storing them in between activities. On the day the chair pocket organizers arrived, I left the shipping boxes, unopened, in the back of the room. It didn't take long for someone to notice the boxes and ask about the contents. I opened the boxes to the excitement of students. Each one came back to pick up 'their' organizer, removed it from the plastic wrapping and installed it over their chair. The room instantly took on a different feel! \r\n\r\nNow that we've had the organizers for a while, we're getting used to all of the great improvements they've offered us. We have more space for our math and science materials, and due to the reduced time needed to transition between subjects, more time to learn! My students and I are very grateful for your generous contribution to our classroom and the positive impact it's had on our opportunity to learn together.","fullyFundedDate":1728925338546,"projectUrl":"project/chair-pocket-storage-for-organized-and-e/8553733/","projectTitle":"Chair Pocket Storage for Organized and Efficient Math/Science Workstations!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Moore","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9626486"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_70654","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":850,"numTeachers":56,"percentFrplEligible":22,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":80,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":5,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":46.8,"schoolId":70654,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Rum River Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Rum River Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/minnesota/anoka-hennepin-ind-sch-dist-11/rum-river-elementary-school/70654"}
