The supplies really add up, and I cannot thank you enough for providing the tools for my students this year (and I have enough leftovers for next year too!) to create a hands-on reminder of the parts of the neuron they learned about. It was a fun day for me, watching them work through the challenge of following the directions and assembling their neurons. I've done this project before, and I'm always so proud to watch them exercise patience and figure out the instructions. Several students were determined to figure out how to work around difficulties they encountered, and nearly all of them loved the process. What surprised me the most was how many students still carry their keychains today and refuse to let me hang them from my classroom ceiling—they're so proud of them, they won't let me use them to decorate!\r\n\r\nYour willingness to fund this entire project outright was incredibly generous, and I'm still a bit blown away by it. These keychains gave my students a relaxing, creative day where they could follow directions and build something meaningful with their hands, all while reinforcing their understanding of neuron structure. The impact of your donation extends well beyond that one day; they're reminded of the project every time they touch their keys, or bookbags, or flashcard bags, or whatever object they've attached them to. Thank you for investing in these students and making this project possible. It meant the world to them, and to me.","fullyFundedDate":1755404397794,"projectUrl":"project/neuron-keychains/9611950/","projectTitle":"Neuron Keychains","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Miller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3691213_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1469234922936","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3691213"},{"teacherId":2842088,"projectId":9367646,"letterContent":"Thank you for your support with our take a break from your phone project. It also helps us keep our students from wandering the hallways and hanging out where they are not supposed to be.
