Our goal was to create something special for our school community—and thanks to your generosity, we did just that.\r\nThrough this project, students gained valuable hands-on experience learning how to plant, care for, and nurture living things. They learned about agriculture firsthand—watering, pulling weeds, sharing tools, and working together to make sure everyone was part of the process. Students witnessed the full life cycle of tomatoes and cucumbers, from flowers to ripe fruit. They even had the chance to taste what they grew and collect seeds to plant again next year.\r\nWith the funds we received, we were able to purchase gardening tools and essential supplies that helped our plants thrive. The joy on the students' faces as they watched flowers turn into small fruits was truly unforgettable. We are especially proud to have shared about 50 tomatoes with our school community—a small but meaningful harvest that reflects the hard work and teamwork of our students.\r\nThank you for helping make this experience possible. Your support not only helped our garden grow, but also helped our students grow as learners, caretakers, and community members.","fullyFundedDate":1746447578588,"projectUrl":"project/building-a-community-garden/9222329/","projectTitle":"Building a Community Garden","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Zagorski","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9989369"},{"teacherId":3544537,"projectId":8953358,"letterContent":"On behalf of the students and staff in our district, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of hats, gloves, and scarves. Our new \"Behind the Anger\" card game is going to be an excellent addition to my anger management groups. I am also so excited about the \"Connect More\" game. This is a 'therapeutic' version of the classic \"Connect Four\" game with two additions: 1) more than two people can play at a time (so awesome); and 2) it comes with a deck of cards that have self-reflection questions on them so that the game has more purpose in my office.\r\n\r\nFinally, I have Crayola's Model Magic! Lots and lots of it! I've never had this in my office before and it will be a wonderful addition to my 'fidget' type manipulatives.
