The students need to move and shift and be kids, but the level of noise that the chairs produce against the tile flooring was distracting to all in the room. It disrupted levels of productivity, concentration and the teaching/learning process. NOW with the rugs, students can move with out fear of disruption, wiggle as they adjust to this years schedule for this grade, and are not distracting their peers or presenters.
