We were oooh-ing and aahh-ing over all the materials in the kits to make our creations come to life!\r\nWe have been learning all about the ocean and creatures of the deep. So, that has been the theme of our machines.\r\n\r\nWe were so happy to jump into collecting facts to represent on our machines. So far, the highlights are a Sea Turtle and a Great White themed creations. You should see how the flippers are coming to life right on the machines.\r\nOnce the pinball machines are finished, we will showcase them at our town meeting at the beginning of March. We can't wait to share with our wider community how our creativity and knowledge are working to inspire fantastical and informative pinball machines.\r\n\r\nThank you a million times over for the resources to help our project come alive. We were oooh-ing and aahh-ing over all the canvas, paints and brushes just psyched for the materials to make our sweet faces come to life!\r\nA few weeks ago, we finished our first round of Pen Pal Letters for our Hawaiian friends and sent them out.\r\nWe were so happy to jump into representing ourselves through the self portraits and we did such a careful and lovely job to get our faces just right.\r\nOnce the portraits are finished and we've had a chance to display them here at school and maybe in our Town Library, we will send them off to our Hawaiian friends and they will send theirs to us!\r\nThank you a million times over for the resources to help our project come alive.
