For many, Brainpop was an app that so many of the students used over the years and with your donation they are able to hold onto it for another year despite budget cuts. \r\n\r\nIn our classroom we use Brainpop for so many topics including but not limited to point of view, context clues, text structure, inferencing, and many other English related topics. We also use it to help them understand historic events such as the Seminole Wars and the French and Indian War. Offering a video provides a differentiated opportunity for the students to learn best. \r\n\r\nThe students also enjoy being able to pick a topic of their choosing while they wait for the bus. One student in particular absolutely loves learning about the Titanic and was tickled to see that there was a Brainpop video about it. \r\n\r\nYour donation has a far reaching impact on these kiddos and we are most grateful for the kindness and generosity you have shown. The students are incredibly grateful for the new additions to the library (especially the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series) and because they are hardbound my hope is that they will remain in good condition for many years to come. \r\n\r\nMy former students got to see what was donated and they are so happy for this year's students with their new reading material, especially with the small group set of The Hatchet. Starting this year, the students will no longer be reading from books that were quite literally falling apart. \r\n\r\nThis first week of school the students received their bookmarks. Once they saw the new bookmarks that they could color and make their own, their eyes lit up with excitement and many students began using their bookmarks immediately. \r\n\r\nThe amount of appreciation and gratefulness I have for your generosity to my profession and to the students have no limits. Designed to engage multiple senses through touch, sight, and movement, the trays are helping our youngest learners build foundational reading and writing skills in a way that's both fun and effective. Whether they're tracing letters in sand, forming shapes with rice, or practicing phonics with textured materials, students are now learning through play and exploration—something that is essential at this stage of development.\r\n\r\nWe've already seen tremendous growth in letter recognition, fine motor skills, and student engagement. For some children, especially those who benefit from tactile or kinesthetic learning styles, these trays have opened new doors to understanding. It's a joy to watch their faces light up as they confidently trace letters and make real connections between sounds and symbols.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only provided educational tools—it has made a meaningful impact on how our children experience learning.
