The items I requested cost over $500 but the impact of the donation is priceless. \r\n\r\nWhen my student saw the boxes of items that were delivered, they were immediately wanting to know how they could earn something. The excitement made my heart smile. I challenged my students to be \"100\". A common slang that my students use is \"keep it 100 Miss Grubbs\" which means be honest or tell the truth. The objective of \"being 100\" in my class is to attend class everyday (no cutting class or being tardy without pass), complete all assignments on time, and no office referrals. The students who were able to \"Keep it 100\", were recognized in front the class and awarded a goodie bag!\r\n\r\nAfter 2 weeks, I had 32 out of 127 kids to meet the criteria of \"Keeping it 100\"! Hopefully, I will have significantly more kids meet the criteria at the next checkpoint. A lot more students are making an effort to come to class on time and turn in their assignments. Overall, I think the incentives that have been donated are inspiring students to change their behavior in my class. I am working on more ways to encourage students to modify their behavior to achieve success inside and outside of my classroom. \r\n\r\nThank YOU again for your generosity!","fullyFundedDate":1736172971733,"projectUrl":"project/pbis-reward-class-store/8757498/","projectTitle":"PBIS Reward Class Store","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Grubbs","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9740968_orig.png?crop=438,438,x0,y20&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726077241586","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9740968"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_124356","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":667,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":87,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":55.7,"schoolId":124356,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Richmond Hill Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Richmond Hill Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/richmond-county-school-system/richmond-hill-k-8-school/124356"}
