We are now enjoy many holiday short picture books and even some longer chapter books!\r\n\r\nOur state and our school have had a strong literacy focus for the past few years in hopes of our students gaining stronger reading skills. For us as educators this means administering many timed reading tests. Much of the time this feels very robotic with little student choice.\r\n\r\nThanks to you our student's have some choice and now some excitement as they pick out new books to read during D.E.A.R time where they drop EVERYTHING and read.
