The students and I were so excited to read this book. The One and Only Ivan is such a wonderful and captivating story that pulled at the strings of my students hearts. In writing, we were writing argumentative text about zoos and aquariums. When we finished reading the story the students were grouped to work on the different characters of the story and give details about them. Lastly, we were able to watch the movie to compare and contrast the book and the movie. \r\n\r\nOnce again thank you for your donation. This book has had such an impact on my students that will last a lifetime.
