We use these binders every day in our class. They are holding up really well. Research shows that repeated reading is a great way to improve student reading. Students are divided into small groups based on their current reading ability. Students are able to use their binders for shared and independent reading. The students are really enjoying the practice, and I am enjoying seeing their excellent progress. My students have had experience with regular Snap Circuits, but these Green Energy Snap Circuit kits took things to the next level! They had already heard of things like hand cranking, solar energy, and hydro energy, but these kits really brought those concepts to life. The projects included are hands-on and meaningful to curious young minds. It's been so exciting to see my elementary students excitement as they build circuits in unexpected and creative ways.\r\n\r\nThis year I've been trying to highlight more STEAM careers. These kits helped us learn about some very interesting fields and careers that we didn't really know much about. I feel its important to expose students to as many rich STEAM activities and careers as possible, because we need bright young minds entering STEAM fields!
