This project helped my 6th graders and I to have a successful school year full of learning and fun. This is all thanks to our new supplies! My students enjoyed sitting on a new rug daily during our read aloud. My students told me that they hadn't \"moved to the carpet\" since before COVID-19, during their early elementary years. Throughout the school year, they often asked to sit on the carpet space during their own free time. They clearly felt comfortable and safe in the space you helped to provide for them.
