They spent time painting a room designated for eSports and hanging lighting to make it look super cool. Getting set up served as a great team exercise. Students implemented a mini-engineering design process and found bits and pieces of needed items from different places on campus to complete their set-up. The camaraderie that developed quickly within the group is one of the reasons esports is so powerful. These are different students than the athletes or musicians. Thank you so much for helping give them a special space where they feel like they belong.","fullyFundedDate":1755521996800,"projectUrl":"project/esports-as-an-extracurricular-outlet/9308004/","projectTitle":"eSports As An Extracurricular Outlet","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. H","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ptaand"},{"teacherId":6876266,"projectId":9279703,"letterContent":"Our campus motivation to build new 3D objects reached an all time peak when we received our Bambu A1 printer. Students helped with the unboxing and assembly of the new printer. Next, we initialized and put it through the first time calibrations and test print in a single color. Now we are training on how to load and unload PLA correctly to the printer heads.\r\n\r\nWe have a campus wide Print Authorization process to help ensure best practices and optimal uses of this new resource. Our campus robotics team gets first dibs on prints. From there each student must complete a 3D self portrait to print in duplicate. They keep one copy and the other joins our school community display.\r\n\r\nNeedless to say, this is the project that just keeps giving, creatIng, and rewarding the engineering spirit.","fullyFundedDate":1746471017360,"projectUrl":"project/higher-engineering-success-fewer-headac/9279703/","projectTitle":"Higher Engineering Success, Fewer Headaches w/Bambu 3D Printer","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. H","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ptaand"},{"teacherId":6876266,"projectId":9200697,"letterContent":"Our color printer has been a game changer for displaying our computer based projects and art work. The difference between this printer and others is the eco tank refill system, which is both environmentally friendly and more economical for us. We have already printed ads for our school wide survey and seen a higher response rate than previously.\r\n\r\nNext up for us is our STEAM fair where student Python programmed art work will be on display. The difference between color prints and black and white for this goes without saying.
