They couldn't wait to crack open the box and start using them.\r\nSince its arrival, we have used the iPad to research people in history that have contributed to making this world a better place. We've researched how different cultures celebrate and honor traditions. We've taken photos during our music class and STEM classes. We have used the iPad to print out photos of animals, plants, and different kinds of transportation. We have also used the printer to make copies of their writing for editing, sharing, and publishing.\r\nThese resources have made our writing and reading time even more engaging.\r\nThank you for making our learning more special.","fullyFundedDate":1760730363650,"projectUrl":"project/making-presentations-perfectly-presentab/9831464/","projectTitle":"Making Presentations Perfectly Presentable","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Smith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp233197_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1550486372835","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ysmith"},{"teacherId":233197,"projectId":9831572,"letterContent":"My scholars were so excited as soon as they saw our new snacks arrive. Their eyes lit up with glee. Since our snacks arrived, we have enjoyed having an afternoon snack to fuel our bodies and brains. That light booster of fuel in the afternoon, allows my scholars to push through and continue to learn, ask questions, and be creative until dismissal.\r\nI have also made little \"to go\" snack bags with the ziploc bags that we received from the project. Some students come in late after breakfast has been distributed. Or they attend the afterschool program which goes to 6pm. I am able to give them a \"to go\" snack bag to give them a pick me up until they get home late in the evening.\r\nI've noticed that they are more focused, much more active and happier after they have enjoyed a drink of water and some healthy snacks.\r\nThanks for helping me address the nutritional needs of my students, so I can meet their educational needs within the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1760811712018,"projectUrl":"project/fuel-your-brain-with-healthy-snacks/9831572/","projectTitle":"Fuel Your Brain With Healthy Snacks!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Smith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp233197_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1550486372835","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ysmith"},{"teacherId":233197,"projectId":9763868,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. They practice their reading comprehension on Renaissance Learning. They move around the classroom to find quiet areas to do their best work. The iPad covers come with handles which allow for smooth transitions.\r\nEach student was able to choose which color iPad cover they would like. They have made creating projects more engaging and fun. They have made our Literacy Center Time more efficient, organized, and meaningful.\r\nAs soon as we received the construction paper, markers, and glue sticks; we were able to create projects that connect with the books we read during literacy time. Students were able to create character puppets to use when retelling the main events from the books they read. They were also able to create posters that depict different settings from the stories that they read.\r\nBy far, one of the most exciting literacy centers is now our Listening Station. During Literacy Center Time 2-4 scholars can enjoy listening to books on tape. They are able to hear fluent reading and various vocabulary words. The Listening Station is now a big hit thanks to the Junction Box that we received from this project.\r\nI appreciate your generosity and support in making my classroom a fun and engaging place to be for my kindergarten kiddos.","fullyFundedDate":1758846517013,"projectUrl":"project/small-group-instruction-that-meets-their/9755095/","projectTitle":"Small Group Instruction That Meets Their Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Smith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp233197_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1550486372835","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ysmith"},{"teacherId":233197,"projectId":9187061,"letterContent":"On behalf of my students and myself, I would like to express our deepest gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom project. Your contributions to our classroom project helped us get these resources, which has made a significant difference in our learning experiences.\r\n The bottled water we received came just in time, as the temperature was starting to go up and my kiddos are outdoors more frequently running, exercising, and playing. Having water ready for them when they return from recess has been a game changer. My students were particularly excited about the scented markers and sharpie markers. They used the markers to create their Mother's Day, Father's Day, Flag Day, and End of the Year Projects. Their artwork looks so much more vibrant and their craft projects have more color, texture, and detail.\r\n Thank you again for your kindness and support. The students were eager to participate once they saw the scooter. We will now be able to use the scooters to enhance muscle movement and add a variety of activities. Scholars were able to use construction paper to make collages and artwork to showcase their learning.\r\nThe Clorox wipes have been a tremendous help and blessing. We are able to make sure we leave our classroom clean and ready to work the next day. I have many scholars that have taken over the role of keeping our classroom clean and they love that the wipes are so easy to use and accessible.
