My students are benefitting from the weighted elephants and chewy necklaces a great deal. The weighted elephants are helping them calm down when their bodies are dysregulated. They work like a weighted blanket but are much more fun for the little ones. The kids all have their own little names for them and the elephants are helping them without them even realizing. One of the teachers who has a particularly challenging Pre-K class this year has borrowed it several times with success and has adopted the blue one for a particular student who is now able to make it several more hours in the classroom with the assistance of her elephant friend. \r\n\r\nThe chewy necklaces are really helping the students not chew on their clothing or suck on their fingers while they are learning.
