The biggest growth so far has been in student engagement. Reading time feels different now, with students leaning in, flipping pages eagerly, and showing genuine curiosity about the stories. They are asking more questions, making connections, and treating reading as something exciting rather than just another task. \r\n\r\nThe energy in the room is brighter, and it's clear that these books have sparked a new level of interest. Many students are especially drawn to the graphic novels, which feel fresh and accessible. Even those who were hesitant to pick up longer texts are now eager to dive in, discussing the artwork and how the visuals bring the stories to life.\r\n\r\nI've noticed students who used to be reluctant about reading now showing real enthusiasm, picking up books without prompting and even asking to take them home. Others are excited to talk about what they're reading, sharing their thoughts with classmates and sparking conversations that carry beyond reading time. \r\n\r\nThe graphic novels in particular have become a gateway into reading with confidence and joy, giving students a powerful entry point into literature. Your support has given them not just access to new texts but a reason to be excited about reading, and that engagement is already laying the foundation for deeper growth ahead.","fullyFundedDate":1763307990280,"projectUrl":"project/refreshed-library/9893224/","projectTitle":"Refreshed Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Powell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8460336_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1652489701456","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8460336"},{"teacherId":534645,"projectId":9390087,"letterContent":"My students became lovers of all types of books last year.
