The sensory tools give my students options to help their bodies and minds feel calm, focused, and ready to participate in sessions. The games encourage communication, problem-solving, and joyful interaction, helping students build confidence and connection through play. It's amazing to see their faces light up as they explore new ways to express themselves and connect with others.\r\n\r\nThe TPT gift cards have also allowed me to find creative, inclusive resources tailored to my students' unique goals and interests. These materials have brought new excitement and flexibility to our sessions and have helped ensure that every learner feels seen, supported, and empowered.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has truly transformed our speech therapy space into a place where every student can feel comfortable, confident, and proud of their progress. Having a rug in the classroom not only provides our student a comfortable space to sit it is so much more! It provides a visual of where there body belongs when learning with a group, it allows for a cozy space to read with a partner, its where memories are made through sharing ideas with partners and connecting about topics. This rug transformed our learning space and we are forever grateful! \r\n\r\nAnother favorite material donated from the project were the writing tablets! Our students were SO excited to have this new resource in the room. These tablets are used throughout the day for learning: in the morning students use them to record attendance and solve math problems for how many days we've been in school. During word work students write words and sentences on it but their all time favorite way to use it is to draw on it during our choice time at the end of the day! \r\n\r\nThe next favorite by the teachers is the headphones! These headphones allow for students to work independently on tablets for learning without distracting others in the classroom. They also work to help our students with autism not feel overwhelmed during fire drills or assemblies by blocking out the loud noises in the environment! \r\n\r\nWe are forever grateful for your support and donations so that we can have all these special materials in our room!!","fullyFundedDate":1730053668703,"projectUrl":"project/helping-autistic-learners/8731123/","projectTitle":"Helping Autistic Learners!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Keyzner","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4566331_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725251410685","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4566331"},{"teacherId":8001667,"projectId":8870829,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donations to our classroom at PS 112!
