They are building circuits, testing hypotheses, troubleshooting design challenges, and celebrating each success, often for the first time. The kits have helped several learners develop stronger problem-solving skills, improve their ability to communicate technical ideas, and increase their persistence when experiments don't work on the first try.\r\n\r\nHighlights of the project's impact:\r\n\r\n1. Students who are usually quiet in class are now leading small-group builds and explaining their designs to peers.\r\n2. Hands-on investigations have increased curiosity and attendance during STEM lessons.\r\n3. Inclusive features of the activities (clear, step-by-step modules and multiple entry points) allowed learners of varied abilities to participate meaningfully and succeed.\r\n4. Several students have shown measurable growth in confidence with basic circuitry concepts and in asking deeper scientific questions.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just buy materials; it opened doors for students to experience STEM as accessible, fun, and achievable. On behalf of my students and their families, thank you for investing in their learning and future.","fullyFundedDate":1764632720750,"projectUrl":"project/wired-for-success-inclusive-stem-learni/9555492/","projectTitle":"Wired for Success: Inclusive STEM Learning with Snap Circuits","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10065828_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755435035614","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10065828"},{"teacherId":10065828,"projectId":9555962,"letterContent":"Receiving a box of snacks has made a real difference in my classroom. Many of my students come from homes where food is not always available, so having healthy snacks at school helps them stay focused and energized throughout the day. A simple snack can make a big difference for a child who might otherwise be hungry or distracted. It allows them to concentrate on their work, participate more actively in lessons, and enjoy being part of the classroom community.These snacks have become an important part of our school day. They provide not only nutrition but also a sense of comfort and security for my students. When they know that food is available if they need it, they can relax and focus on learning instead of worrying about when they will eat next. I have noticed that students who used to struggle with attention or mood changes in the afternoon now show better focus and a more positive attitude.","fullyFundedDate":1762266433355,"projectUrl":"project/snack-pack-power-nourishing-minds-with/9555962/","projectTitle":"Snack Pack Power: Nourishing Minds with Care and Crunch","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10065828_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755435035614","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10065828"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_108789","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":49,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":93,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"US Census Data for the surrounding geographic area","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"Census ZCTA","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":55.6,"schoolId":108789,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Preble County Education Service Center - Success Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Preble County Education Service Center - Success Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/ohio/-county-run-/preble-county-education-service-center-alternative-school/108789"}
