Your support has truly made a difference, and I am thrilled to share how we are already putting the new resources to work.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the materials, my students have been very excited to use the materials everyday! The materials have allowed us to engage in projects that promote both creativity and critical thinking. For example, during morning small group the students like to use the magnetic shape sorter from the math center. The caddy's are used to hold materials is our different centers as well as hold the small group materials to stay organized and ready for the students. \r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up and immediately wanted to get started using them. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you so much for your generous contribution. The colorful tissue papers, bright strings, and reusable yogurt containers transformed our classroom into a buzzing hub of artistic energy. They couldn't wait to roll up their sleeves and dive into creating their own mini piñatas, each one uniquely designed with care and imagination. \r\n\r\nThis project wasn't just about art—it was an opportunity for the children to learn about upcycling and how small actions, like repurposing everyday items, can protect our oceans and planet. As they painted and decorated, we discussed how rethinking trash can lead to beautiful creations, fostering both creativity and eco-consciousness. \r\n\r\nA particularly memorable moment came from one of my students, Kalee, who proudly exclaimed, \"We're saving the turtles!\" as she glued a ribbon to her piñata. Her enthusiasm spread across the room, creating a chorus of excitement about making a difference. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, your support will continue to have an impact. The skills and awareness gained from this project will connect to our next classroom adventure: a community-inspired mural celebrating upcycled art. This collaborative effort will teach the value of teamwork and reinforce the idea that creativity and sustainability go hand-in-hand. \r\n\r\nThanks to you, my students are learning that their ideas and actions matter.
