My students and I were so grateful and excited when we saw the thin colored tape. We put those in the Makers Center. We created American flags with red, white and blue to celebrate Patriot Day. Students build up their authenticity and they go there to create artwork by themselves. They really enjoy making art and bringing it home with them to share what they did with their families. \r\n\r\nThe oil pastel also made our Mid-Autumn Festival banner look extra vibrant. Students enjoy using those to draw what they want in the makers center as well. When I brought it into the room the students immediately wanted to unbox it and see what it was. When I told them it was a new carpet for morning meeting they were ecstatic to say the least! They helped me roll up our old carpet and unfold the new one. As soon as it was placed on the ground the students had a great time sitting on it and feeling how soft it was! I know that we were going to making such amazing memories in our fresh new meeting area. The morning meeting area is such an important part of the Pre-k classroom and I am delighted that thanks to my donors, I was able to give it a fresh new look! \r\n\r\nAs a teacher of four year olds, the classroom can get really messy, and do accidents happen...alot. That is why I am so exicted that this rug's special feature is that it is machine washable, making it easy for me to take it home periodically and wash it! I have yet to wash the rug yet, but I look forward to being able to freshen it up for the kids and keep it free of germs throughout the winter months where many of the kids get sick easily. Once again, thank you so much for the rug! It will be deeply loved this year but also for years to come!","fullyFundedDate":1758148145647,"projectUrl":"project/cozy-and-clean-classroom-carpet/9569380/","projectTitle":"Cozy and Clean Classroom Carpet","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ajello","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9655607_orig.jpg?crop=4000,4000,x0,y106&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723585611581","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9655607"},{"teacherId":3413490,"projectId":8972962,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. My students really love getting into the baker role as they dress up with aprons, this allows them to use and develop their pretend play. We used the walking rope when crossing the road and it went smooth and safely! \r\n\r\nOur trips to the park have been quick, efficient and safe! The the students will benefit greatly from the gross motor play that they will be getting because they are able to visit McKinley Park often. \r\n\r\nWe also appreciate the bandaids and first aid kit which we bring to the park each time we visit to ensure that any potential student injuries are addressed.
