Your support made it possible to enhance the presentation skills of my students in our Business class.\r\n\r\nThanks to the resources you provided, I was able to offer students a more structured and engaging experience as they developed and practiced their public speaking abilities. One of the most rewarding outcomes was witnessing their growth in confidence as they presented in front of their peers. The use of tools such as the podium and notecards played a significant role in helping them feel more prepared and self-assured.\r\n\r\nThese experiences have not only improved their communication skills but have also fostered a greater sense of professionalism. The students were really excited to get the items in this campaign. Let me start by first discussing the coin skirts, and scarfs. Having these items really helped the students embody they movements for the dance and help them make the connections necessary to perform the dances. They were so excited that I had to ask them to take them off for a while, as they were just moving and shaking to hear them. \r\n\r\nSecondly let me discuss that tap shoes. They were so excited to put them on that and just, Again, make noise. Once they started to learn movements they were at first frustrated because \"Tap looked easy\", but they now ask when is it time to do tap. The have gained a real appreciation for it. Without your generous donations they would have never had these experiences, and to see them light up make my job have so much value.","fullyFundedDate":1741357534880,"projectUrl":"project/tap-jazz-and-dance/8953830/","projectTitle":"Tap, Jazz, And Dance","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Vaughn","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8919234_orig.jpg?crop=1944,1944,x0,y324&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1674146643649","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8919234"},{"teacherId":9580954,"projectId":8479883,"letterContent":"At the start of this school year, your generous donation of classroom materials—including a podium, writing supplies, and chart paper—enhanced my students' daily learning experiences. The lined paper, pens, and pencils allowed me to create personalized supply packets so that no student ever had to feel unprepared or left out due to a lack of materials. The markers and chart paper became essential during collaborative projects like group poetry writing and class project planning. For example, my 10th grade students used these supplies to collaboratively write and present original poems. My juniors mapped out a collaborative lesson plan to teach to the freshmen students. These materials helped my students brainstorm creatively and share their voices visibly on the walls of our classroom.\r\nOne of the most meaningful additions has been the podium, a centerpiece of student engagement and confidence-building, especially during our in-class debates and student-led lessons. The podium has been used for student presentations of their persuasive speeches during our rhetoric unit. For our poetry unit, students use the chart paper to write group poems and the podium to perform them aloud. These resources have helped build not just academic skills, but also leadership, confidence, and community. \r\nThank you for helping bring this energy and opportunity into our classroom! I am deeply grateful for your impact on their growth and success this year.","fullyFundedDate":1722610912331,"projectUrl":"project/cultivating-effective-communicators-in-m/8479883/","projectTitle":"Cultivating Effective Communicators In My ELA Class","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. OAKCRUM","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9580954"},{"teacherId":8611898,"projectId":8482339,"letterContent":"On behalf of my students and myself, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom.
