Reading together also provides an opportunity for teachers and children to connect. Our little classroom is very unique, as we are a lab based preschool where high school students who are interested in education run the program under my guidance. Located in Potomac Falls High School, current high school students who have a passion for working with children have the opportunity to lean to teach and run an early childhood classroom. To watch the high school students get excited about our new materials and want to \"play\" with them right away shows the deep importance of hands-on opportunities.\r\n\r\nThe high school students develop lessons and teach our preschool students. They have full access to all the materials you have provided. Through our play-based theme lessons these are such a great addition to our classroom. \r\n\r\nIn a classroom that is rich with diversity and has many English language learners - both with our preschoolers and our high schoolers.
