Because of you, my students now have a safer, more supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive both academically and emotionally.\r\n\r\nThe SEL books and materials have been invaluable in guiding class discussions and individual reflection. My students are learning how to identify and name their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and build empathy for others. These resources have opened the door to meaningful conversations about kindness, perseverance, and understanding, and I have already seen students using this language and these strategies in their daily interactions.\r\n\r\nThe enrichment games have brought so much joy and connection into our classroom. We use them during morning meetings, brain breaks, and small group activities to practice collaboration, communication, and problem-solving in a fun, low-pressure setting. Students are learning how to work together, listen to one another, and resolve conflicts in positive ways—all while having fun.\r\n\r\nOur calm-down corner has become a powerful tool for self-regulation. The timer helps students take a purposeful break, reflect, and reset before returning to learning. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, students now have a safe space to pause, breathe, and regain control of their emotions. This has led to fewer disruptions, smoother transitions, and a more peaceful classroom environment.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, my classroom is a more inclusive, compassionate, and emotionally supportive space. Your generosity is helping students build lifelong skills like resilience, self-awareness, and empathy which are skills that will serve them far beyond the classroom. I am incredibly grateful for your support and for the positive impact you have made in my students' lives.","fullyFundedDate":1755909316471,"projectUrl":"project/a-safe-space-to-breathe-reflect-and-co/9514977/","projectTitle":"A Safe Space to Breathe, Reflect, and Connect","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kim","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8186252_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1657641860093","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8186252"},{"teacherId":8186252,"projectId":9513781,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity and support of our classroom. They are asking deeper questions, making connections to the world around them, and becoming more confident sharing their ideas during discussions.\r\n\r\nThe Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has allowed me to bring in creative, standards-aligned lessons that meet my students' diverse needs. From differentiated reading passages and hands-on math projects to social studies units and SEL activities, these resources have helped me better support all learners and make lessons more engaging and accessible.\r\n\r\nThe academic review games have added so much excitement to our classroom.
