Because of your kindness, our students now have hands-on access to materials that make science and engineering exciting, engaging, and fun.\r\nSnap Circuits have already sparked curiosity and creativity in our classrooms. During a library lesson, with my older elementary students, we learned the basics about how circuits worked. They were able to put that knowledge to practice; collaborating, problem-solving, and building a standard light switch and then a buzzer. Your support is helping us inspire a love of learning and STEM at an early age, and that impact will last far beyond this school year.\r\nWe are truly grateful for your investment in our students and our school community. Thank you for believing in the power of hands-on learning and for helping our students explore, discover, and imagine.","fullyFundedDate":1762475579606,"projectUrl":"project/electric-circuits-theyre-a-snap/9874901/","projectTitle":"Electric Circuits — They’re a snap!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Smart","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6527238_orig.jpg?crop=601,602,x0,y6&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758587419541","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6527238"},{"teacherId":6527238,"projectId":9580871,"letterContent":"Your generosity has helped to transform learning in my elementary classroom by turning ideas into real, hands-on creations. Students design objects using Tinkercad and watch them come to life, building problem-solving, math, and engineering skills along the way. When designs don't work as planned, students learn perseverance by revising and trying again.\r\nStudents are especially excited to see their work become real objects and proudly say, \"I designed that.\" The hands-on nature of the printer makes learning meaningful and highly engaging, sparking curiosity every time it's used.\r\nAs someone new to my role, I initially struggled with student engagement. The 3D printer has helped me connect with students and create a more inclusive classroom. Students who struggle with traditional assignments have thrived, stepping into leadership roles and helping peers. Their growing confidence has made a positive impact on our entire learning environment.\r\nI cannot thank you enough for your kindness, it is truly appreciated.","fullyFundedDate":1758827371371,"projectUrl":"project/print-potential/9580871/","projectTitle":"Print Potential","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Smart","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6527238_orig.jpg?crop=601,602,x0,y6&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758587419541","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6527238"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_84161","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":241,"numTeachers":16,"percentFrplEligible":57,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":33,"percentWhite":32,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":17,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":67.6,"schoolId":84161,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pointview Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Pointview Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/ohio/westerville-city-school-district/pointview-elementary-school/84161"}
