Your contribution will have a meaningful impact on the lives of our students, providing them with valuable resources to better understand their emotions and develop healthy coping strategies. Mental health education is crucial, and your donation helps create a supportive environment where students can feel seen, heard, and empowered. \r\n\r\nThe books you provided will serve as essential tools for me and the students I work with, offering insights into managing anxiety and fostering emotional well-being. Additionally, the fidget toys will provide a much-needed outlet for students who benefit from sensory support. I have already have countless students utilize (and enjoy!) these tools during our work together in my office. These resources not only enhance our mental health initiatives but also contribute to a more inclusive and understanding learning space for all.","fullyFundedDate":1730389666381,"projectUrl":"project/supporting-students-socialemotional-de/8910448/","projectTitle":"Supporting Student's Social/Emotional Development","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Campbell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9820305"},{"teacherId":9827133,"projectId":8921768,"letterContent":"The materials and supplies that yourgenerosity funded, have had a solid impact on our ability to make our DNA unit a more tangible concept. We use colored pencils regularly to make the concepts pop. \r\nThe kits, have not been utilized yet, because we have not gotten the those units. \r\nAdditionally, I am not at liberty to submit photos due to confidentiality of our special education classrooms. Kids are quick to compliment and question one other's thinking and this improves not just the social well-being of students, but their academic growth as well. \r\n\r\nThe donation from Donors Choose and the amazing donors who support it has made a noticeable improvement in my student's lives. And the fidgets are always appreciated by the kiddos!\r\n\r\nAdolescent mental health is both a simple and complex thing. Simple in that all kids need the same support, understanding, structure, empathy, boundaries, limits, freedoms, expectations, guidance, etc. Complex because each kid may require these things to look different than another kid. The items I received through your generosity will help me customize my treatment to each kid's individual strengths, needs, and characteristics.
