They are practicing communication, responsibility, empathy, and confidence as they interact with teachers, staff, and other students. It allowed me to turn an empty room into a cozy, happy nook for learning. When students toured my classroom at our Meet the Teacher event, multiple parents commented on how beautiful my classroom was!\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating that the loveseat and floor pillows allowed is wonderful. Students often get a floor pillow and complete work at the floor when allowed, and sitting on the loveseat is a special treat saved for reading time.
