During math and literacy lessons, I model strategies on the anchor charts while students add their own thinking using the Mr. Sketch markers and gel pens. One standout moment was during small-group instruction when students independently referenced the anchor charts across the room and added examples and notes without being prompted. The ability to create, move, and revise our charts in real time has made learning more interactive and student-driven.\r\n\r\nMy students were thrilled when they saw the new materials, especially the Mr. Sketch markers and gel pens! There was immediate excitement, followed by genuine curiosity about how we would use them for learning. Many students were eager to write, draw, and contribute to our anchor charts, and even typically reluctant writers were excited to participate. The materials instantly boosted motivation and engagement.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building and revising anchor charts as we move into more complex lessons. They will use the charts to support independent work, small-group discussions, and reflection on their learning. Over time, students will take more ownership by helping create and update the charts themselves, using the markers and pens to show strategies, examples, and connections.
