Your generosity has had a meaningful impact on our classroom and on the way our students experience music.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the Boomwhackers, our students have been able to explore music in a way that is hands-on, interactive, and joyful. The colorful instruments immediately capture their attention and invite them to participate. Even students who are usually shy or hesitant have found themselves eager to join in, discovering that they can contribute to the group's sound and rhythm.\r\n\r\nThis project has also encouraged teamwork and collaboration. Because each Boomwhacker plays only one pitch, students must listen carefully to one another and work together to create songs. They are learning not only about rhythm, melody, and harmony, but also about patience, cooperation, and the value of every voice in the ensemble.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, the Boomwhackers have made music accessible to all students, regardless of their background or prior musical experience. They are building confidence, expressing themselves creatively, and finding joy in making music together.\r\nWe are so grateful for your support. You've given our students an opportunity to grow as musicians, learners, and teammates, and the impact will carry forward well beyond this project.","fullyFundedDate":1752586430406,"projectUrl":"project/rhythm-representation-building-inclusiv/9401307/","projectTitle":"Rhythm Representation: Building Inclusive Classrooms","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Schneider","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10051669_orig.jpg?crop=537,537,x0,y12&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1749502109088","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10051669"},{"teacherId":6518873,"projectId":8916530,"letterContent":"The impact of this project cannot be overstated - the addition of these tools to our classroom has not only increased engagement, but it has also led to positive student outcomes and documented progress toward student goals. Students are having so much fun learning with these activities - the students don't even realize it is \"work time\" and think they are getting to play all day at school! Students with extensive support needs require specialized instruction, a nontraditional classroom setup, and unique activities to teach new skills. The traditional paper-and-pencil learning is not accessible for my students, and for years, I spent countless hours developing accessible learning activities on my own. This project built up our classroom library of learning activities for a wide range of early academic skills. The library of activities has also helped me to conduct more thorough and meaningful evaluations to accurately assess my students' progress, especially for those students who have difficulty communicating using conventional communication modalities. To roll out our Your Voice, Our Future survey for families, staff members, and students, we held our school's first Family Movie Night to bring the community together. We watched Inside Out 2 on the new blow-up outdoor projection screen using our new projector, and we served pizza and popcorn. It was a tremendously successful event: students were excited for a fun after-school event, and families were excited to be invited onto campus. Families shared the feedback that they wanted more events like this, and we delivered, hosting our second Family Movie Night just one month later. The supplies from this project have helped build us up as a new Community School. We are excited to be able to share fun events like movie nights with our students' families.\r\n\r\nWe are also thrilled that we have input from over 60% of our families so far in our journey to a 75% response rate minimum requirement across all stakeholder groups. The games and incentives purchased through this project have helped us show our appreciation to families who have shared their voices.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your support and generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1730567147219,"projectUrl":"project/schoolwide-outdoor-family-movie-night-ev/8791165/","projectTitle":"Schoolwide Outdoor Family Movie Night Event Essentials","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bresee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6518873_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1673734651900","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6518873"},{"teacherId":8564958,"projectId":8440135,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your gracious donation. \r\n\r\nOne of the main goals I have as an educator is to inspire a love for reading, while exposing students to a variety of texts.
